Hot Bodies is a 90 minute somatic movement class for queer folks who are longing to move, feel, embody liberation, and be together beyond enduring, performance, compliance and productivity. This gathering invites you to soften your mind, listen to your body’s impulses, and reconnect with the erotic intelligence that lives within your tissues. Through guided sensual somatic prompts and collective care, we’ll explore what it feels like to be hot with aliveness, bodies in our truth, and deeply queer in community.

When: Saturday May 9, 2026 - 1:30PM to 3:00PM. Doors Open - 1:15PM and will be locked at 1:30PM to respect the container of the workshop.

Where: Pieter Performance Space LA

Who this space is for: Queer folks of all bodies and all genders. Must be 18 or older to attend.

What to Expect: Che Che will offer movement prompts to a multi-genre playlist while you follow what your body wants to do. It’s guided but not choreographed, structured but spacious, with no pressure to look a certain way or get it “right.” No dance experience required, only curiosity and an openness to try new things.

Access Needs + Sensory Information: Music is often loud and lighting is often dim. Participants are also encouraged to make expressive sounds throughout the class. We will have ear plugs for folks upon request! Face masks are optional and will also be provided upon check-in.

The space is located on the 2nd floor with one flight of stairs directly up from the entrance. Elevator access is available; please email pieterrentals@gmail.com prior to the event if you will need to use it.

The elevator is spacious enough for any mobility device and the 2nd floor space is free of any steps or mobility barriers. There are no automated doors in the building. If you will need the elevator, please email pieterrentals@gmail.com after you register!

There are two all-gender restrooms with three private stalls and a urinal. Each restroom has one stall accessible for mobility device users.

Class Policy: Hot Bodies has a zero tolerance policy for violence of any kind including: racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism, ageism, and other discriminatory or aggressive language or actions. Sexual harassment of any kind is not tolerated. If anyone in the space is exhibiting behaviors that do not follow this policy, they will be asked to leave.
