My Values & Commitments

How I approach ethics, consent, harm, repair and responsibility within this work.

My Work Is Rooted In These Beliefs

Your body is wise.

My role is not to tell you who to be, what to feel, or what is true for you.

My role is to create conditions that support curiosity, learning, agency and deeper relationship with yourself.

Consent Is Foundational

Consent is not a checkbox. It is an ongoing practice.

You are always welcome to slow down, change your mind, ask questions, decline an invitation, take a break, or stop entirely.

✺ And also, I believe it is integral to first address power dynamics within the relationship that may have impact on someone being able to access their empowered choice and voice.

I believe meaningful learning happens when choice, agency and autonomy are centered.

You Are The Expert On Your Experience

I do not position myself as an authority on your body.

I bring training, tools, education and support.

You bring your lived experience.

Together, we create space for exploration, learning and discovery.

Pleasure And Liberation Are Connected

Many of us have inherited shame, disconnection and survival strategies from living within systems that benefit from our separation from ourselves, each other and the living world.

I believe pleasure can be a powerful resource for healing, aliveness, imagination and collective liberation.

I also believe pleasure is never an obligation.

Your no is as welcome as your yes.

Boundaries Create Safety

Clear boundaries allow this work to remain ethical, sustainable and supportive.

I maintain professional boundaries with participants and clients.

The purpose of our work together is education, embodiment and personal growth.

Accountability Is A Practice

I am committed to ongoing education, mentorship, supervision and self-reflection.

I will make mistakes.

When harm occurs, I believe in practicing account-ability and repair when possible.

I am committed to continually examining how power, privilege and oppression shape this work and my participation within it.

Everyone Deserves Dignity

I strive to create spaces where queer, trans, disabled, neurodivergent, BIPOC and otherwise marginalized people are treated with dignity, respect and care.

Perfection is not required.

Curiosity, consent and humanity are.

A Living Practice

This is not a fixed set of rules.

It is an ongoing practice of listening, learning and aligning my actions with my values.

Because how we do the work matters just as much as the work itself.
